2006 Firefighter of the Year- Rocco Sarli

During an apartment fire on Coventry road in January of 2006 Lt. Rocco Sarli located an unconscious female in her bed who had been overcome by smoke. Lt. Sarli picked up the victim and carried her out of the apartment. Because of his actions and those of the others working that fire this woman’s life was saved.

2006 Service Award- Joe Cipriano

Firefighter Joe Cipriano has devoted much or his personal time over the past several years to Union events. Joe has taken the lead role in organizing our Local 402 Annual Reverse Raffle for the past 6 years. Joe also coordinates our annual Christmas party. Thanks Joe. Keep up the good work.
